Analysis & Portfolio Management Team

Once a development has passed the first Investment Committee, the Analysis team undertake the second stage of our thorough due-diligence. They spend up to three weeks reviewing between 50 and 70 documents before the development can be presented at the second Investment Committee. This team in charged with closely monitoring the ongoing property development projects from finance, construction, investment analysis and reanalysis perspectives, and produce regular updates on every aspect of a development. They are our eyes and ears on the ground and ensure investors’ needs are always put first. They are also responsible for pulling together quarterly reports on each development, which are then shared with investors by our Investment Relationship Managers.

Origination Team

The Origination team speaks to developers and works through their proposals to determine if they are viable. They also undertake the first stage of the due-diligence process. If it passes this test, they present the development to the first Investment Committee.

Legal & Compliance

Our Legal team is responsible for structuring investments in the best way possible for our investors and for negotiating its terms, including exit terms. The team also provides strategic advice and support on a wide range of legal matters. Compliance ensures that Cogress conducts its business in full compliance with the rules, guidance, industry best practices and tight regulation that govern companies who are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the UK.
